As our honorary president Pallab Ghosh is nearing the end of his term, we are looking for suggestions from ABSW members for his successor.
The search is for a distinguished science journalist/writer who will represent the ABSW. This person will have a strong and long track record in science journalism as well as robust management experience. With wide name recognition that reaches beyond the science journalism/writing community this high-profile individual will be able to open doors with the ABSW’s scientific partner organisations and other sponsors.
The president’s duties include providing advice and support to the Chair and Board. A strong public speaker, the honorary president will attend live ABSW events. The position is a 3 year fixed term, but there is no limit on the number of times the honorary president can be re-elected. Please think broadly when you think of suitable suggestions.
