A Creators Rights Alliance member briefing on the government’s white paper on broadcasting will take place at 14:00 on Monday 13 June, via Zoom.
On 28 April 2022 Nadine Dorries, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, presented to Parliament the government’s vision for the broadcasting sector.
Join John Sailing, Organiser (Campaigns and Casework), The Writers' Guild of Great Britain (WGGB) and Liam Budd, Policy Officer at Equity UK for this special members’ briefing.
They will cover the key areas of the paper and how it might impact the broadcasting industry, members and public. They will also explain the legislative process and how members can help influence the outcome, as well as providing details of campaigns you may wish to get involved in.
There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions and make comments.
In addition, and time permitting, we will open up the meeting for members to discuss any other subjects and issues of concern.
