Are you a student science journalist wondering how to get that big break in the national media? Are you looking for tailored career advice from experienced professionals about what your next step should be? Do you want to know what will give you that added edge in the job market for science journalists?
The Association of British Science Writers (ABSW) is hosting a special event aimed at student science journalists to offer one-to-one careers advice from established professionals within the UK print, broadcast and online media. This is an in-person event, and each student will receive their first drink free as well as free food.
On arrival, student participants will sign up for sessions with the established journalists on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. Each session will last five minutes.
Journalists taking part will be announced soon.
Free for ABSW student members, and you can join the ABSW as a student member for just £25 to enjoy all the benefits of membership for 12 months, plus attend this event for free.
