A day trip where students will meet researchers, interview them and write news articles about it. The day ends with a game night and networking. Meals and drinks included.

ABSW is bringing student science writers together in Bristol this September, and we want you there.
By day, students will be able to meet with researchers from the University of Bristol, train on how to conduct interviews and write articles in small groups.
Guided by senior journalists from Physics World and the ABSW board, the articles written will be edited and published on the ABSW website. Students are also encouraged to write for their university newspapers. All writers will be bylined.
We will provide drinks, snacks and lunch.
In the evening, ABSW is hosting drinks at a nearby pub, followed by a game of Blood on the Clocktower, which is a bit like Werewolf but better.
Full-day training, mentorship, meals and refreshments for £15 for ABSW Student members and £40 for student non-members. If you are not a member yet, join now.
