The ABSW has produced a booklet, laying out the story of the ABSW and our profession's evolution over the past 75 years!
"What would the founders of the Association of British Science Writers (ABSW) make of the organisation they set up, 75 years later? No doubt they would be delighted to know that it is still running, although once or twice that was not absolutely certain, as you can read in the timeline that follows in this booklet. They would probably be amazed by the technological changes that allows us all to write on computers, increasingly often remotely from our co-workers. But they would also probably be reassured by some similarities in how the
organisation runs today compared with 75 years ago".
