You might like to know of a poster in the corridor of Guy's Hospital. It says: "Be careful. Thieves are operating in this area". Someone has added: "So are surgeons." Fabian

Plenty of time

Nina Hall was kind enough to post this on the internet "PLN, Indonesia's national electricity board, was recently asked by an Indonesian newspaper about its Y2K preparedness. The reply is as follows: "We can observe what happens at midnight in Western Samoa, New Zealand and Australia and still have six hours to make plans."
